Igor Pitangui&Fernanda Dubiel
With Brazilian roots, Igor Pitangui and Fernanda Dubiel are a dynamic West
Coast Swing duo known for their bright smiles, creativity, artistry, and
unmistakable Brazilian flair. Their dancing radiates joy, connection, and
originality, lighting up the floor with vibrant energy and technical excellence.

 

Igor Pitangui
An award-winning Brazilian artist based in Toulouse, France, Igor began
dancing at age 8 with training in contemporary, jazz, ballet, and Brazilian
ballroom. After performing in operas, musicals, TV shows, and festivals, he
started West Coast Swing in 2009. Over 16 years of experience, he is now one of the most versatile and respected names in the community, excelling as both leader and follower while sharing his signature creativity and warmth.
As the event director of Global Grand Prix – West Coast Swing Championships
and Smiley & Swing, and with over 150k followers, Igor continues to inspire
dancers worldwide.
Key Achievements: 3× in a row BudaFest All Stars/Champions J&J Winner
(2022, 2023, 2024), Strictly Open BudaFest Winner (2023), 3× French Open
Showcase Winner (2017, 2019, 2022), US Open Showcase 6 place (2018).

Fernanda Dubiel
Born in Brazil with Polish roots, Fernanda is one of West Coast Swing’s
brightest talents. After only 18 months in All Star, she entered the Champion
division in 2024 — a testament to her dedication and joyful spirit.
Starting with ballet at age 6, she explored several Brazilian ballroom dances
before discovering West Coast Swing in 2009.
Today, based in Poland, she teaches, coaches, judges, and competes
internationally, bringing her vibrant energy wherever she goes.
Key Achievements: US Open Classic Finalist 10 place (2024), Cabaret 2
place (2023), All Star Jack & Jill Winner at Capital Swing (2025), Atlanta Swing Classic (2024), and Boogie by the Bay (2023).
